Zannie’s Brief: I have been writing poetry all my life, but since I have retired from nursing I have been taking my writing more seriously. I am studying MA (Writing) at Swinburne University of Technology, Faculty of Higher Education, Lilydale, Vic. Australia. My poetry has many voices. They speak on areas as diverse as personal experiences, global destruction, fantasy and the ordinary surprises and humour in life. I have two poetry blogs, Ripples, http://zannie-rambling.blogspot.com which has examples of my reflective poetry, and The Gypsy Rambler http://zannie-rambling.blogspot.com which has examples of the rest. The city of Melbourne is my stamping ground, I live about 10 minutes walk from the CBD. I have four adult children and nine grandchildren, and share an apartment with my dog.
